ANCHORAGE, AK — Today, Senator Dan Sullivan’s (R-Alaska) re-election campaign announced the endorsement of the National Rifle Association (NRA) Political Victory Fund, recognizing Senator Sullivan’s unwavering commitment to defending the Second Amendment and protecting Alaska’s hunters, sportsmen, and gun owners.
In an endorsement letter, NRA Political Victory Fund Chairman John Commerford highlighted Senator Sullivan’s leadership in defending the Second Amendment, writing:
“Thank you for standing strong for freedom and defending NRA members and law-abiding gun owners in Alaska and throughout the United States. Based on your leadership protecting the Second amendment in the Senate, you have earned an ‘A+’ rating from the NRA-PVF for this election. An ‘A+’ is reserved for a legislator with not only an excellent voting record on all critical NRA issues, but who has made a vigorous effort to promote and defend the Second Amendment.”

“In contrast, Senator Sullivan’s exceptional record with that of his opponent, Mary Peltola, who was hand-picked by anti-Second Amendment Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer,” said Campaign Spokesperson Nate Adams. “Peltola has pledged her loyalty to Schumer, and her first vote in the Senate, if elected, would be to make Schumer the Senate Majority Leader. This would be a disaster for our Second Amendment rights and for the great state of Alaska.”
