ANCHORAGE, AK — Fresh off a productive week of delivering results for Alaskans in the U.S. Senate in, Senator Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) hit the campaign trail, traveling across Southeast Alaska to meet with voters ahead of the August 18 primary election. From community events and local festivals to meet-and-greets with supporters, Senator Sullivan connected with Alaskans across the region, listening to their priorities and discussing his record of fighting for Alaska in the U.S. Senate.

📍 Ketchikan

→ Attended the District 1 Blueberry Eve Republican Feed, where he spoke with local Republicans and community members.

→ Kicked off Saturday by participating in the Blueberry Festival 10K.

→  Spent time at the Blueberry Festival, meeting with attendees, volunteers, and supporters.

→ Hosted a community meet and greet, discussing the issues that matter most to Southeast Alaskans and sharing his vision for Alaska’s future.

→ Dan Delivers for Ketchikan: Since 2015, Senator Sullivan has secured $391 million in federal funding for Ketchikan. He also helped strengthen the city’s Coast Guard presence by supporting the homeporting of two Fast Response Cutters, securing funding for critical infrastructure upgrades, and championing the largest Coast Guard budgets ever for Alaska and the nation.

→ Wrapped up the weekend in Wrangell with a packed meet and greet, where he visited with local residents, discussed the issues impacting their community.

→ Dan Delivers for Wrangell: Senator Sullivan has helped secure approximately $48 million in federal funding for Wrangell since 2017, including over $832 thousand through the Secure Rural Schools program in 2026 to support local schools.
