Endorsement Is a Result of a “Proven Track Record of Leading Responsibly and Standing Up for Good Policies”
ANCHORAGE, AK – Senator Dan Sullivan (R-AK) has received the endorsement for re-election from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, who highlighted his “proven track record of leading responsibly and standing up for good economic policies.”
“In difficult times, we are reminded of the importance of having leaders that understand the genius of the American system of government and free enterprise and who are willing to tackle the hard problems that confront our nation,” said U.S. Chamber CEO Thomas J. Donohue. “As our country faces many challenges and is collectively working to not just reopen our economy, but return to growth and expanded opportunities for all Americans, we need leaders like Senator Dan Sullivan. He has a proven track record of leading responsibly and standing up for good policies. The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse Dan and looks forward to partnering with him in the future.”
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business organization representing more than three million businesses across every sector of the economy. Its members range from small businesses and local chambers of commerce to leading industry organizations and associations.
As a member of the Senate Commerce Committee, Senator Dan Sullivan has spearheaded efforts to remove economic roadblocks previously put in place under Democratic leadership in the White House and Senate. He has championed pro-growth economic policies for Alaska and worked to secure roughly $1.6 billion in new military construction funding, led the energy renaissance on Alaska’s North Slope, and fought to include numerous Alaska-first provisions in the new U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
